我们有见到过这样的译句：When the fusion of cells reached 80%, cells were digested by pancreatin/pancreatic juice.很明显，这个句子中fusion和pancreatin都用词不当。

（1）“检测”不能一概译为detect，如果是检测含量，则译为determine或measure，如果是检测某物质的存在，则译为detect; 如：用实时荧光定量PCR方法检测HBV DNA含量（拷贝/ml）和ELISA方法检测HbeAg。第一个检测要用measure或determine，因为是要测量含量，而第二个检测应该用detect，检测HBeAg是否存在。
（2）Clinical outcome of 或 treatment outcome of 后面一般接疾病或病人，一般不接治疗方法或药物，如果要表示治疗方法或药物的疗效，一般用clinical efficacy of 或 clinical effect of。
