1. 词语的顺序

英语翻译中，经常遇到同一单词，放在不同的位置，表达句子的意思有所差异。

例如：

1）Only you come up with a idea on food advertisement yesterday, we can decide it whether available or not.

2）Yon only come up with a idea on food advertisement yesterday, we can decide it whether available or not.

3）You can come up with a idea on food advertisement only yesterday, we can decide it whether available or not.

2. 直译或顺译

直译或顺译都是翻译中最重要的技巧之一。利用直译或顺译会直接方法，体现原文语义，可以直接还原原文原汁原味的风格。保留原文字面意思，并没加以引申。

例如：

1）These hardships are temporary.

这些困难是暂时的。

2）Perhaps there is indeed a cognitive limit.

也许确实存在一些认知上的限制。

3）Lawyers who have represented insurance claimants in past cases worry that this kind of deal threatens policyholders’ interests.

在过去的案例中代表保险索赔的律师担心这类交易威胁到投保人的利益。

3. 意译

在无法用直译或顺译的情况下使用意译，能避免译文出现硬译，不通顺、晦涩难懂等情况。采用意译，一般会改变词语的位置，有时候会某些单词的词义加以引申。

1）The length is the range from 1 cm to 3 cm.

长度范围介于1厘米到3厘米。
